Power Projects recently bagged a project on power system studies for NFE1 QG- Camp Site Development Plan, Qatar.

The scope of the project is to perform

The North Field East (NFE) project is an expansion of the North Field, the world’s biggest single non-associated natural gas field, offshore north-east Qatar peninsula. The North Field represents the southern part of the giant natural gas field that is shared between Iran and Qatar.

• The study focuses on the Network fed by the 33 kV GAC feeder.

• The system consists of four numbers of RMU, four number of 2000kVA, 33/0.415 kV transformer.

The study’s objective is to provide the proper protection coordination between all protection devices for switchgear. The protection coordination study is performed using the ETAP 22.5 – Electrical Transient Analysis Program.
