Power Projects is proud to share that we have been awarded the PSCAD and PSSE Model Development project for a Medium Voltage Static VAR Generator (SVG). This study is essential for ensuring accurate dynamic behaviour representation, grid interaction validation, and reliable reactive power performance of the system.
About the Study
Static VAR Generators play a critical role in maintaining voltage stability, improving power factor, and supporting grid performance under varying load and fault conditions. Developing an accurate simulation model is essential for validating system behaviour during steady state and dynamic grid events.
Using advanced simulation tools, our engineering team will develop and validate the detailed PSCAD and PSSE model to support system planning, grid integration studies, and performance verification under various network scenarios.

Scope of Work
