We are delighted to announce that this project has been officially awarded to Power Projects for conducting an Electrical Arc Flash Study for DFE Pharma India Pvt Ltd, located in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.
This study is critical to ensure personnel safety, regulatory compliance, and safe operation of electrical systems within the facility.
About the Study
Arc flash hazards can cause severe equipment damage and pose serious risks to personnel working near energized electrical equipment. This study will evaluate fault scenarios, incident energy levels, arc flash boundaries, and PPE requirements to ensure safe maintenance and operation practices.
The analysis will be performed using advanced power system simulation tools in line with international safety standards and engineering best practices.

Scope of Work
- Electrical network modelling using ETAP simulation platform
• Arc flash hazard analysis as per IEEE 1584 – 2018 guidelines
• Incident energy calculation and arc flash boundary determination
• System operating mode evaluation and fault current assessment
• PPE category recommendations as per NFPA 70E – 2021
• Arc flash label data preparation for electrical equipment
The study will cover key electrical assets including transformers, LT panels, and DG systems to ensure comprehensive safety evaluation.
Key Outcomes
This study will enhance electrical safety, support safe maintenance practices, and help ensure compliance with international arc flash safety standards.
This award strengthens Power Projects’ expertise in electrical safety studies, industrial power system analysis, and arc flash risk assessment for critical manufacturing facilities.
