About the Study

The study involves a comprehensive assessment of the electrical and dynamic performance of the 280 MW Solar + 80 MW BESS system under various operating and grid conditions.

The analysis will focus on evaluating steady-state performance, reactive power capability, power quality, dynamic response, and grid compliance, supported by advanced RMS and EMT simulation studies.

The study will also involve development and validation of appropriate simulation models to assess the plant's interaction with the grid and demonstrate compliance with applicable grid connectivity requirements.

Scope of Work

  • Network Modelling
  • Reactive Power Capability Assessment
  • Load Flow Analysis
  • Harmonic Analysis
  • DC Current Injection Assessment
  • Flicker Study
  • Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT) Study
  • High Voltage Ride Through (HVRT) Study
  • Frequency Response Analysis
  • Ramping Capability Assessment
  • RMS Plant Modelling
  • EMT Plant Modelling
  • Plant Model Validation
  • P–Q Capability Assessment
  • Benchmarking Study
  • Grid Compliance Assessment

The studies will utilize advanced RMS and EMT simulation platforms to evaluate system behaviour under normal operating conditions and grid disturbances.
