This study plays a vital role in ensuring that the Battery Energy Storage System complies with applicable grid code requirements while achieving reliable, stable, and secure operation under steady-state, dynamic, and power quality conditions.

About the Study

The project involves comprehensive Grid Compliance Studies for a utility-scale standalone Battery Energy Storage System connected to the transmission network. The objective is to validate the electrical performance of the plant and demonstrate compliance with national grid connectivity requirements.

The study includes advanced simulation-based assessments using PSS®E and PSCAD, covering steady-state analysis, power quality evaluation, dynamic performance assessment, benchmarking studies, and detailed RMS and EMT model development. The analysis will evaluate system performance under various operating and contingency scenarios to ensure reliable grid integration.
