This project is designed to tackle critical aspects of the 220kV GIS Substation, encompassing a wide range of studies and evaluations to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Here’s a glimpse into what we’ll be diving into:
1. Insulation Coordination Study using PSCAD
a. Temporary Over Voltage
b. Slow Front Overvoltage
c. Fast Front Overvoltage
d. Very Fast Front Overvoltage
2. Transformer Energization Study using PSCAD
3. Ferroresonance using PSCAD
4. Relay Coordination using ETAP
5. Unit Protection
6. Cable Sizing (220kV & 11kV) using CYMCAP
7. LV Power & Control Cable Scheduling (220kV & 11kV)
The scope of this project is both challenging and exciting, featuring a 220 kV GIS with one incoming line and three 220 / 11 kV, 25/31.5 MVA Power Transformers. We’re geared up to leverage our expertise in this area to deliver comprehensive solutions that ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety.
We’re thrilled to embark on this journey and are committed to delivering top-notch results that exceed expectations. Stay tuned for updates as we progress through this exciting venture!
Congratulations to Selva kumar and Ajith for bagging the project.
