The Plant has been in operation since 2002 and operating consistently with more than 65% Plant load factor. They Generate and sell the power to TANGEDCO, a power generation and distribution company owned by Government of Tamilnadu.
Our team has completed the site visit for Input data collection and the study will be carried out using ETAP 22.5 in compliance with IEEE1584-2018, IEEE1584.1-2022 & PPE recommendations will be provided as per NFPA 70E 2021.
The Plant consist of 18kV, 250MW Generator with 240/18kV, 290MVA Generator Step up transformer and two numbers of 18/6.9kV, 33MVA Unit Auxiliary transformers. Plant Auxiliary system consist of five numbers of 6.6kV switchgears and thirteen numbers of 6.6kV motors. Auxiliary system also have about 24 distribution transformer and one 630kVA Emergency Diesel Generator.
