We are happy to announce that we have completed a prestigious project to perform feasibility and power system study for integrating Wind Turbine Generator along with Battery Energy Storage System to feed offshore FPSO Project.

The scope of the project is to perform :
1.Optimal BESS (PCS and Battery) Sizing in Homer Pro
2.Load flow and Short Circuit Studies in ETAP,
3.Transient Stability in DIgSILENT Powerfactory and
4.Transformer Energization in PSCAD.

System demand is about 80 MW and met by 4 No’s of 28 MW Gas Turbine Generator. Various wind capacity is explored along different BESS Sizing. The most challenging part of the project is to identify size and number of Wind turbine to be installed and Battery size that is required for the project. Our recommendation has helped the customer to meet 20% of energy requirements from renewable energy.
