We are pleased to share that Power Projects has secured a Harmonic Analysis Study for a utility-scale 110 kV grid-connected solar farm project.

This study is a critical requirement for evaluating harmonic performance, validating the effectiveness of harmonic mitigation measures, and ensuring compliance with grid connection requirements at the point of interconnection.

About the Study

The project involves a detailed harmonic assessment of the electrical network, including the 110/33 kV substation, collector system, inverter transformers, inverter units, and a proposed 15 MVAr C-Type High-Pass Harmonic Filter.

Using DIgSILENT PowerFactory, our engineers will develop and validate a detailed harmonic model of the network to evaluate harmonic distortion levels, identify potential resonance conditions, and assess harmonic filter performance under various operating scenarios. The study will also verify compliance with applicable utility and project-specific harmonic requirements.
