Adani Green – Harmonic analysis & Harmonic Resonance Study
We are happy to share that we have bagged another project in the renewable energy sector from SB Energy (SoftBank Group) (Recently, SB Energy has been acquired Adani Green Energy Ltd.)
PROJECT DETAILS
The scope of this project is to perform Harmonic analysis & Harmonic resonance study. SB Energy has installed a 300 MWac Solar PV plant in Pokhran, Rajasthan, Power from the solar plant is evacuated to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited network through 220kV transmission line. SB Energy wish to investigate the impact of harmonics injected by the #solarinverters in terms of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and also analyze the harmonic spectrum.
The initial study was carried out and a detailed report was submitted that explains the harmonic levels along with the harmonic resonance frequencies in the system based on software simulation. The methodology adopted for the study includes the validation of harmonic levels from the site measurements and to submit the comprehensive final report recommending the suitable solution as applicable.
