26 MW Hydro project in Vietnam
We are glad to announce that we have bagged a project to carry out #powersystem studies for a 26 MW Hydro project in Vietnam. The #power generated from hydro #generators are stepped up to EHV level by the use of a three winding transformer.
PROJECT DETAILS
Impedance specified for three winding #transformer as per RFQ resulted in much higher short circuit current at generator terminal and circuit breakers specified for the project was not adequate for such high short circuit current.
Power projects have not only optimised the impedance of the transformer but also ensured with OLTC range that complete reactive power capability of the generators are extracted. Series reactor option is also explored and optimal recommendation are made.
