NTPC will build four park pooling substations and transmission lines for power evacuation from the Nokh solar park. Power will be transmitted to a 33kV/220kV pooling station through a 33kV capacity cable and will reach the 765kV Bhadla-II substation of Power Grid Corporation of India from the solar park. encompassing a wide range of studies and evaluations to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Here’s a glimpse into what we’ll be diving into:
Power System Study using ETAP
Load flow study for the entire network during steady state condition with the different operating configurations results as follows,1) Overloading of equipments 2) Power flows in the electrical distribution system 3) Voltage at various buses 4) Voltage drop calculations shall detail the line losses and relative voltage relationships.
Short circuit study is conducted to calculate the current magnitude in a power system after a fault occurs. This information is crucial for validating the interrupting capacity of circuit breakers at each switching location and designing an effective protective system. It shall cover assessment of Line-Line-Line, Line-Ground & Line-Line-Ground fault.
Relay coordination study is to propose the suitable settings for all relays &releases and ensure the coordination.
Unit Protection
Transformer differential Protection relay actually compares transformation current between the primary and secondary windings with the help of compensation or multiplication factor for the power transformer, if any unbalance found in between primary and secondary transformation currents the relay will actuate and inter trip both the primary and secondary circuit breaker of the transformer.
We’re geared up to leverage our expertise in this area to deliver comprehensive solutions that ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety.
We’re thrilled to embark on this journey with NTPC LIMITED and are committed to delivering top-notch results that exceed expectations. Stay tuned for updates as we progress through this exciting venture!
