We have reached a new milestone by securing a groundbreaking project in the UK

The project focuses on performing harmonic studies and providing engineering recommendations for the P28 & G99 studies for a renewable energy plant.

The renewable solar park consists of 6 numbers of 4.6MVA inverters and 6 numbers of 0.69/33kV 4.6MVA transformer. It is connected with the existing system of Braintree network.

The studies are performed with different contingency scenarios for the
1. Harmonic load flow analysis for evaluating the Harmonic Distortion
2. Frequency scan for evaluating the resonance

The P28 studies are covered with the following aspects
a) Voltage step changes when the complete generation is curtailed at (0.95/1/1.05 Pu of voltage) at different power factors
b) Transformer energization

Case -1 single transformer

Case -2 Complete single feeder

Case-3 complete plant energization

c) Flicker analysis
d) Assessment of flicker at PCC for continuous and switching operation

The G99 studies are covered with the following aspects
a) Steady state reactive power capability test with respect to G99 requirements
b) Fault level studies at each switchgear
c) FRT and FFCI studies
d) Frequency Response study
e) Voltage control and reactive power stability

Congratulations to Selvakumar S and Ajithkumar Gunasekaran for bagging the project. And congratulations to suriya kumar and Madhan for successful execution of the project.
