We are happy to announce that we have bagged up a project on power system studies for two plants in Jordan

· 50MWac Risha Solar Power Plant which is located in Risha, Jordan and

· 485MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project which is located in Zarqa, Jordan.

The scope of the project is to perform the following studies using ETAP 22.5 for both the plants.
1.Load flow studies
2.Short circuit studies
3.Relay coordination and
4.Arc flash studies for both AC and DC networks.

50 MW Risha solar plant, consist two numbers of 132/33kV 45MVA power transformer. The plant consists of Nine inverter stations connected at 33kV Main MV switchgear, each inverter station has connected two numbers of Inverter Duty transformers rated 3.6/1.8/1.8 MVA, with voltage level of 33/0.63/0.63kV and each of it is connected to two central inverters of 1637kVA. This Project supports the country in increasing its renewable energy capacity and reducing its reliance on costly hydrocarbon imports.

Zarqa 485MW Combined cycle power plant consists of three gas turbine generators with a capacity of 124.1MW each and one steam turbine generator with a capacity of 183 MW. To facilitate transmission, the power is stepped-up to 132kV using 4Nos. transformers, with capacities of 3x160MVA and 1x220MVA for gas turbines and steam turbine respectively.

Congratulations to Selvakumar and Ajith G for bagging the project, And Congratulations to Madhan and Gokul, Muneeb for successful execution of the project.
