We are happy to announce that we have bagged up a project on Arc Flash study for a mining industry which is a open-pit gold mine located in the Eastern region of Ghana, the seventh biggest gold producing country in the world.

The Study will be carried out using ETAP 22.0 in compliance with IEEE1584-2018, IEEE1584.1-2022 & PPE recommendations will be provided based on NFPA 70E 2021.

The gold process plant was designed to treat 7.4 Mtpa 100% primary ore and up to 8.5 Mtpa of 30% oxide ore blended with 70% primary ore. The plant was designed to operate for fifteen (15) years, treating 110 million tonnes of ore and producing 500,000 ounces of gold contained in doré annually.

The Plant receives the power supply through a 34.5kV overhead line system that connects Nkawkaw and Kwae passing through the mining area. It receives power from the 161/11kV Plant main switchyard. The electrical system is fed from 161kV Grid through 2 No of 161/11.5kV 40/53 MVA transformer, two Plant 11kV main switchboards and 7 Nos of 1500kVA Generators are present and from there it is connected number of transformers which will have connected to MCC & DB’s.

Congratulations to Selvakumar and Ajith G for bagging the project.
