The scope of the project is to collect the data’s from 9 substations and perform a Power Evacuation Study using ETAP 22.5.
70 MW Babina solar plant consists of
- 2 numbers of 132/33kV 32/40MVA power transformer.
- 8 inverter stations connected at 33kV Main MV switchgear, each inverter station has connected two numbers of Inverter Duty transformers rated 3.6/1.8/1.8 MVA, with voltage level of 33/0.8/0.8kV and each of it is connected to two central inverters of 330kVA.
This project supports the country in increasing its renewable energy capacity.
PP value addition
PP has been conducted for various(n-1) contingency conditions of the transmission lines to identify the constraints in the region. Additionally, the following points are checked
· Voltage dip/drop calculation
· Power factor requirements (in all four quadrants)
· Reactive power compensation
· Transformer OLTC requirements
Congratulations to Selvakumar S and Ajithkumar Gunasekaran for bagging the project, and congratulations to Suriya Kumar S and Manoj Kumar S for successful execution of the project.
