“IIt was a very nice training session about the MV circuit breaker and Generator breaker circuit breaker selection by Power Projects team with hand calculaton as well as ETAP simulation. The heading was MV ckt breaker and Gen breaker selection but the session was not limited upto that…touched abt grid islanding too and several other topics with full of theoretical concept and ETAP simulation. Many many Thanks to Power Projects team..Special thanks to Mr.Selva and Mr. Dijo.”

“Finally experienced a paradigm shift in my Educational career and a whooping increase of 28% from my Bachelor’s to my Master’s degree.
This reflects the amount of pursuance I put into learning new skills and knowledge during my Master’s degree.

I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed my degree with a Master of Science MSc in Electrical Power Engineering with First class, Distinction (81%).

I am honored to do my final thesis on a real-case Industrial project with POWER PROJECTS. My sincere thanks to Selvakumar S sir for giving me an opportunity and also for spending your valuable time. Many thanks to Suriya kumar for patiently guiding with the project.”

“From electricity utility or Transmission Network Service Provider (TNSP) point of view, I have led (& also been leading) compliance testing (i.e. R2 testing) for synchronous machines, wind farm and solar farms. While it was fun and interesting to travel to wind farm and solar farms sites and witness the commissioning and compliance testing, I began to wonder what it actually takes to design these generating systems. So, in my quest for learning (out of curiosity), I came across a series of live webinar on the topic of solar farm design using pvsyst Software presented by powerprojects (a power system consultancy firm in South India led by one of the very technically knowledgeable and smart person I have come across Selvakumar S – ( https://lnkd.in/d4DkzPw3 ). With a bit of an open mind that knowledge has no boundaries, I decided to sit through the webinars presented on a weekly basis after my work hours in the evening. I enjoyed most of it and I can now probably design a solar farm site using PVSyst software with a bit of help solar farm.”

“Being and electrical engineer from operation and maintenance background i was looking for institutes to learn Power System Studies to shape my career. Then, i came to know about Power Projects from one of my colleagues and joined their training program on ” Industrial Power System Analysis, APAC-09 batch (2023).” I joined their online weekend batches and attended all the sessions sincerely. When i joined their training program i was having very less knowledge on power system studies. But, as soon as course progressed and by the end of this training program i learned a lot and now i am able to execute projects on my own in just 3-4 months. Below are the things which i loved about power projects:
    1. Their training program. They teach each and every concept in detail with ETAP simulations and gives assignments which helps a lot. 2. Bonus courses on Let us better understand cable, generator, transformer, earthing system etc. which is an added advantage. 3. It’s not only about taking fees and finishing the courses. They make sure that they have transformed your knowledge by involving us in various webinars, Q&A sessions, Case studies. I can say that the amount Power projects are charging for the training is very nominal in compared to the knowledge which we are getting from them. I consider my life’s best decision which i took by joining Power Projects. Thanks a lot, Selva Sir and entire Power Projects team.”

“In this quest of learning, I came across this wonderful learning platform POWER PROJECTS and Selvakumar S sir during lockdown time 2020 when they first started the live sessions on youtube. Since then I have learnt a lot of new things from basic to advance level related to Power sector and Design Engineering as they have covered a large portion of that field in various free and paid sessions.

I’m glad that I have completed another course from powerprojects related to #solarpowerplant . This is not a promotional post but being a student here for last 2+ years, I’d highly recommend this platform to Engineers who are in power segment. Also I’d like to give a one line feedback to the teaching way of Selvakumar S sir, Sethuraman Srinivasan sir and Nivedhan Sivakumararajan sir with the famous quote of Albert Einstein:

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”

Thank you for your teaching, keep sharing the knowledge sir. Will see you on the next course.”

“From the technical session of Selvakumar S and Jeyakumar Velusamy, I would like to pen up some of my key learning in a short report. It is very fun and interesting to learn with them. I had finished preparing my preliminary learning report for some of the sessions. I would like to share it with you all as knowledge sharing purpose.”
