“From electricity utility or Transmission Network Service Provider (TNSP) point of view, I have led (& also been leading) compliance testing (i.e. R2 testing) for synchronous machines, wind farm and solar farms. While it was fun and interesting to travel to wind farm and solar farms sites and witness the commissioning and compliance testing, I began to wonder what it actually takes to design these generating systems. So, in my quest for learning (out of curiosity), I came across a series of live webinar on the topic of solar farm design using pvsyst Software presented by powerprojects (a power system consultancy firm in South India led by one of the very technically knowledgeable and smart person I have come across Selvakumar S – ( https://lnkd.in/d4DkzPw3 ). “Being and electrical engineer from operation and maintenance background i was looking for institutes to learn Power System Studies to shape my career.
