We are delighted to announce that we have bagged Reactive power compensation studies using Dig Silent Power Factory for “220MW Jizzakh PV independent power Producer Project”
The system consists 1000 Nos of String inverters, 25 Nos Inverter Duty transformer and two power transformers. Power is evacuated at 230 kV.
Scope is to recommend the suitable reactive power compensation device (Capacitor Bank vs Dynamic Compensation) with optimal rating to minimise the capital investment for EPC. Reactive power compensation device has to meet the stringent Power Purchase agreement of Q/Pmax from 0.35 to -0.4 with +/- 5% Accuracy level.
Study involves overall cost optimisation based on Transformer impedance, OLTC, Reactive Power Compensation device rating and Inverter requirements.
